Increasing Competencies of Young People to Use Media and Theater Based Tools to Combat Hate Speech

This project aims to empower young people to address online and offline hate speech and to equip the participants of the project by needed competences to do it in their realities and to encourage their peers to join them.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

  • To develop participant’s competencies in the area of discrimination and hate speech
  • To raise competencies of the participants to effectively fight discrimination and hate speech in their countries and tocontribute to creating social inclusive societies
  • To increase the abilities of the participants to effectively use media tools in the process of addressing hate speech and raisingmedia literacy skills among young people
  • To increase participant’s competencies (teamwork, leadership, communication, conflict management) through
    participation in various nonformal based activities in intercultural settings
